Caring Ministry

Life is full of bumps along the way, and the staff and Caring Minisitry Team of Immanuel want to be there to help.

As a part of the Social Ministry committee, we work to match the needs of an individual with the appropriate support. Be assured that all information shared will be treated with the highest regard for your privacy and confidentiality.

Ministries now in place at Immanuel:

Tape Ministry

Provides cassette of two Sunday services per month to shut-ins.

Transportation Ministry

Provides rides for our members who need transportation every 3rd Sunday.

Meal Ministry

Provides meals for families when situations develop that make meal preparation a burden at home.

Card Ministry

Send heartfelt notes to Immanuel members who have prayer requests, the newly baptized, those experiencing loss and our new members.

Respite Care Ministry

Provides support to those in care-giving relationships.

 
We know God works in many ways to comfort & heal hearts that have been wounded by grief.  Come - hear once again God's promise of resurrection and experience the warmth and love of Christian community.
 
All who have experienced loss, whether recent or in the distant past, are invited to attend.  If you know of someone who has suffered a loss, you are encouraged to bring him or her.  The Bible makes it clear that our grief is relieved by the hope and promise of the resurrection, but also by the community we enjoy with others.  Please come and be healed by this community.  All are welcome. 
 
While children are welcome in the service, a nursery will be available for those who desire it.
