Overall Goals of the Immanuel Lutheran Children’s Choir Program:

1. To provide meaningful Gospel messages through music, which enhance and lead Immanuel’s worship services
2. To provide a fun and safe environment for children to grow in their faith, friendships and music
3. To provide opportunities for music and fellowship with others at Immanuel and outside the church, (choir outings).
4. To educate in Lutheran heritage by teaching traditional hymnody
5. To coordinate with the education goals of   the Children’s Ministries program.

Expectations/Guidelines for all Choir Members and Parents:

1. To participate joyfully in all rehearsals and singing engagements.
2. To be punctual to all rehearsals and singing engagements
3. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 6:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m
   1. Please be dressed and ready to sing 1/2 hour prior to singing engagement
   2. Please complete dinner and take your bathroom breaks prior to arriving
4. To be respectful of others; the Director and your peers
5. To practice and memorize your music as required by the Director.
6. To support the choir with prayer and volunteer time when needed
7. To contact the Director in advance to notify of absence from rehearsal or singing engagement.
