COME and GROW!

Adults, join us on Wednesday evenings and GROW your faith!  We meet from 6:15–7:45 p.m. in Room F.  Remember, there’s a meal offered from 5:00–6:00, and childcare is available.  Classes are free, led by one or both pastors, non-threatening  and offer lots of opportunity for lively conversation and questions!   Come and GROW!

 OCTOBER 15 – OCTOBER 29 Faith and Politics- Can we talk about them together- in church??   Just before the election, let’s talk about how we live out our faith as US citizens. We’ll be joined by several guest speakers for this series.

• October 15: Professor Gary Simpson, Luther Seminary
• October 22: Former Governor Al Quie, state of Minnesota
• October 29: Lori Sturdevant, political reporter, Star Tribune

NOVEMBER 5 – NOVEMBER 19 Good God Questions   Nobody said that faith is easy. Each week, using a video resource from Luther Seminary, one of these provocative questions will guide our conversations:

• November 5: Why suffering?
• November 12: Do Jews, Muslims and Christians worship the same God?
• November 19: How do I know God’s will for my life?

DECEMBER 3 – DECEMBER 17 The Gospel of Mark   Beginning in Advent, we will be reading our Sunday morning gospel texts from Mark’s gospel. Knowing the basics about Mark will help you listen better and understand more clearly.
