Erin introduces herself in the following way: “Erin Vork is a mild-mannered cubicle-dweller by day and a free-spirited musician by night.  She attended the Interlochen Academy for the Arts, followed by St. Olaf College, and lived on a diet of almost exclusively Classical music for most of her life.  Then she met a group of jazz musicians who were a bad influence on her in all the right ways. Erin renounced her Classical lifestyle (well, expanded her horizons, anyway) and is trying her hand at just about anything she can.  She is a member of the John Phillip Sousa Band, the Wild Prairie Brass, Terissani group, and a frequent guest performer with Collective Unconscious, the George Maurer Jazz Group and the Shake a Hamster Band.  Prior to starting at Immanuel, Erin was the music director at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer, MN, where she directed the choir, played the organ, and founded and led their contemporary praise ensemble.”
