Summer 2008 Dates... Here are the dates for this summer’s youth ministry events: JUNE June 11, Lake Riley, 5-8pm Mission Trip to Philadelphia (completed grades 8-12): June 13-21 Peer Ministry Training (completed grades 9-11): June 23-25 June 29, Backpacking Practice Hike, 12noon JULY VBS (Student helpers needed): July 14-18 July 18-20, Sonshine Music Festival July 21, Backpacking Food Packing Night July 23, Lake Riley, 5-8pm July 25 - August 2, Backpacking - (completed 7th grade can hike with a parent.  8th grade and up do not need a parent) AUGUST August 20, Lake Riley, 5-8pm August 23, Peer Ministry & Student Leader Meeting   Here's the list of important dates for '08-'09... Easter Breakfast, April 12, 2009  Garage Sale, May 2, 2009 Student Leadership Opportunities... come to Youth Quake and be a Student Leader at the Confirmation Retreat become a Student Leader at Confirmation join the youth Technology Team help lead Middle School youth events and activities participate in worship leadership with Holy Commotion       Refuel onWednesday nights!  Immanuel Sr. High youth will meet from 8-10 p.m at Caribou (right next door to the church).  Come hangout, have coffee, play games and watch movies.  Come and hang out for as long as you can...arrange to be picked up when you ahve to get home...or bring your home work and study with a group of friends.     Holy Commotion  A group of 7th-12th grade students lead music at Confirmation on Wednesdays - and at youth-led worship services.     If you are interested in joing the group to offer your musical and/or vocal abilities please contact Martin (martin@immanuel.us) .

Sr. High Youth Director - Paul Erdmann Paul is a graduate of NDSU (North Dakota State University) and spent two years working for Lutheran Volunteer Corp (1 year in Seattle and 1 year in Washington, DC). Paul worked part-time at Immanuel for two years while studying for his masters in Youth & Family Ministry (Through Youth Leadership at Luther Seminary).  He graduated in May 2005 and then began working full-time at Immanuel on June 1, 2005. Some of Paul's interests are: fishing, hiking, camping, sailing, volleyball, frisbee, playing guitar and music!
